I have been working on Point-of-Care Ultrasound (POCUS) for more than a decade, and I have been the director of the simulation and point-of-care ultrasound training at my institution. Thus it is quite natural for me to be interested in the application of POCUS to the patients with COVID-19.
My friend, Dr. Nilam J. Soni at UT Health San Antonio, as we co-direct Point-of-Care Ultrasound courses in Japan, recently posted a webinar on Point-of-Care Ultrasound in COVID-19. It is quite helpful not only for POCUS in COVID-19 but also for an excellent introduction to lung ultrasound in general. In the middle, he has Q and A with Dr. Mangala Narasimhan, which is also worth listening to. Lots of pearls on handling COVID-19.
